Course Description
Italy is home to an amazing array of grapes - around xx at last count! And because its inhabitants have been making wine for millenia, it has many historic, unique wine making traditions and techniques too. Over 4 weeks, we'll take you on a journey around Italy's diverse regions, sharing the familiar and the new, the classics and a few some surprises!

Over 3 weeks, get to grips with how wine is made, the most important wine producing countries and regions and the world's most important grape varieties. Whether you're looking for a new favoutrite in the wine aisle or navigate a restaurant wine list with confidence, this course is for you! By tasting and comparing at least 6 wines each evening in a fun, friendly and relaxed setting, by the end of the course you will be able to:
- taste wine like a professional
- assess the quality of a wine
- identify key wine aromas and flavours
- recognise the world’s most important red, white and rosé wines
- read an understand a wine label
- make better food and wine pairings
