Wines of the Loire Valley and Champagne
Join us as we head North on our Tour de France to the Loire Valley and we'll pop in to Champagne too!
The Loire is one of the largest and most distictive wine regions of France, famous for its chateaux, but also for the host of different styles and grape varieties, from the dry and yeasty Muscadet to the original Sauvignon Blancs from the Central Region around Sancerre, not forgetting the reds and roses of Anjou and Touraine.
We will try to pedal around the valley to sample the best and sometimes unappreciated great value wines along the way.
We will taste 6 specially selected wines and of course some fizz!
