We are an independant wine and spirits education company....but we offer so much more!

We love to taste wine, spirits and beer - something for everyone.

We host regular tasting events right in the heart of London where we focus on the enjoyment of tasting, no previous experience necessary.

We do not sell wines, spirits or beer - no pressure to make any purchases at our events.

We would love to help you with your corporate event - just ask!

Plus we teach WSET courses - globally recognised qualifications for keen amateurs and professionals

Our most popular events:

Introduction to Wine Tasting - a single evening to cover the basics

Single evening wine tasting events to suit everyone in the City in Wanstead and in Canary Wharf

4-week courses - from Beginners, to focussed wine regions, to taste offs, France vs New World, kinda BREXIT thing!

8-week courses - tour at least 10 wine rehions, taste at least 48 wines.

Saturday courses, taste 12 excellent wines and learning all about them, along with a delicious 2 course lunch!

Masterclasses, more in depth focus on a grape or wine style.

Spirits - whiskey, rum or gin, we love them all!

WSET Courses - Award Levels 1, 2 and 3

We are accredited to teach and examine the qualifications awarded by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the world's leading body for wine qualifications.

Venue, Times & Accessibility

East London Wine School wine courses and tastings are held in the City of London and in Canary Wharf.

Courses take place either at

a) the Chamberlain Hotel, Minories, London EC3N 1NU.

Just a few minutes walk from Aldgate and Tower Hill Tube stations, Tower Gateway DLR and Fenchurch Street rail links.

b) or at The Merchant, 25-27 Fisherman's Walk, Canary Wharf, London E14 4DH

Just a few minutes from Canary Wharf Tube and DLR station.
